Scan-To-USB

In this section, we will see how to use the scan-to-USB service. Let’s see it in detail.

A step-by-step guide to using this service.

  1. Use this guide to access the select media page.

  2. On the select media page, select “Scan-to-USB”.

  3. The copyright page will open (select accept).

  4. The scan setting page will open where we can select the output format, scan mode, and image quality.

  5. Now we have to scan our document (On this page we have multiple options like we have editing options we can also delete our scanned document etc.). For more details on View and Edit we can go through View and Edit document.

  6. Now we get a message on our display that is Insert USB (It will show a timer of 20 seconds. After 20 seconds we will be forwarded to the scan page again).

  7. We Inserted our USB.

  8. Our USB storage information will be shown. Now click on next.

  9. Now we get an interface where we have to choose the path where we want to save our scanned document and the name of the scanned document (by default name of the scanned document is SimpleScanStation).

  10. After step 9, click on next and we get 3 options

    1. Scan more:- If we selected scan more then we will have to repeat our procedure from point number 5.

    2. I’m Done:- By selecting this option first, we get a warning message “Please remove USB”. Until we do not remove our USB it will warn us and when we remove our USB then we will finally land on our home page with a thank you message.

    3. Save to other media:- If we selected this option then we have multiple options where we want to save our scanned document. By selecting any option we can continue with that feature and usage of that feature will be in his guide.
